B.J. has experience offering sales trainings and presentations to organizations of various sizes and industries. He specializes in presenting new and emerging sales trends, especially those in business development, which he learns from his academic research and the many sales leaders he works with. BJ teaches the Professional Selling and Advanced Selling Techniques course at BYU, leads the BYU sales program, and is the author of two best-selling professional selling textbooks. BJ's sales trainings and consulting services generally fall into four categories

Sales Training Workshops

Small group trainings that revolve around learning to implement specific skills, such as new prospecting methods (i.e., video emails or social selling), using analytics as a salesperson to make strategic decisions, how to get the attention of prospective customers, and using storytelling during sales presentations. These workshops are a blend of instruction and interactive activities to ensure that sellers are ready to implement new methods.

Executive Team Trainings

Workshops with a focus on helping leaders manage their sales teams and implement new selling methods. BJ's expertise when working with executives is helping leaders diagnose the major issues sellers face in moving customers down the sales funnel and then how to fix the issues. The workshops also focus on using numbers and analytics to pinpoint the major problems. These can be mostly presentation-type instruction or case study workshops.

Sales Keynotes

Keynote presentations offered at large company meetings or sales kick-off conferences. These are a mix of sharing information about new sales trends and best practices, along with motivating and inspiring through engaging storytelling.

Sales Consulting or Training Material

Fixing specific issues within your sales organization or helping to build and scale a sales team. Because BJ's expertise is in teaching new sellers, he can help develop new sales training material and manuals to ensure training not only includes up-to-date best practices but is also replicable for each new hire. BJ can also offer new material that you can implement into your existing sales training or playbooks.
